FAQ

What, what whaaaaaaat?!

What is a vector file

A vector file is an image made up of dots and lines, and can be resized indefinitely without any loss in clarity. A vector file is designed to follow lines and curves to cut complex shapes on vinyl plotters and laser cutters.

If you have previously employed a graphic designer they will provide these file to you. These file types usually end with .AI, .SVG, or .PDF

What is a bitmap, png, or jpeg file?

Bitmap files are made with individual pixels to create images for computer screens or paper. Zooming in or enlarging a bitmap beyond its original size will increase the size of each pixel, and result in a blocky and blurry image.

These file types usually end with .JPEG or .PNG
